Insurance Claims Assistance At Towne Body Shop

You have been in a collision and your automobile is damaged. Now what? The first vital step is to file an insurance claim. If you have not already, contact your insurance provider to make a notification of the accident. At that time, your insurance provider will assign an adjuster, open a claim and provide you with a claim number. You will need that claim number and possibly even an estimate to begin the repair process.

The insurance adjuster will evaluate the damage to your vehicle and review the circumstances. Once the adjuster has completed the estimate, you will be presented with the estimated cost to repair your vehicle. At that time, you will also be notified of your out-of-pocket expenses and/or deductible costs that will be your responsibility. In some cases, the insurance company asks us to write the initial estimate of repair to start the process. Keep in mind, the initial estimate of repair is just the beginning, and in most cases, there is additional hidden damage that needs to be addressed once the vehicle is taken apart.

The staff at Towne Body Shop will work with your insurance provider to coordinate your benefits and the repair of your vehicle. Our primary goal is to ensure you receive exceptional and timely service.
